Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York into a multi-cultural family, Jennifer Kraiem-Ghatan was infused her with a passion for travel, language and the arts. At the age of six, Jennifer began intensive classical piano training that led her to perform in concert halls across New York City. She enjoyed learning languages and studied Spanish, Hebrew, French and Italian, respectively. She later satiated her interest in culture by living abroad and studying in Florence and in Paris.
Jennifer earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work from NYU and was awarded multiple honours and a scholarship. Due to the daunting nature of the field, Jennifer chose to revert back to her original career choice and to focus her energies into the uplifting industry of design. She earned an Associates degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design and established the design firm JNK Interiors in 2009.
In 2012, Jennifer moved to London and continued designing projects in New York, New Jersey and Miami. She has since opened up JKG Interiors London, though she maintains an ongoing portfolio in the U.S.
Jennifer resides inLondon with her husband and two children.
